冬至与翁总一起吃汤圆

这一次的博客聚会，大伙儿有机会与贵人事忙的翁总一起吃午餐（虽然两点半，等了一会儿近三点吃午餐有点晚），对我而言，真的是荣幸。本来我可是坐在翁总对面的，还有三个位子，面对着门的，当然两个留了给主人家（翁总与阿武叔），我们的林放大哥因为解释说要正面对着翁总，便把第三个位子让给我，我也就这样坐到翁总隔壁了。

我想：反正我是无名小卒，这样一次有机会坐在总会长旁边，都托阿武叔的福，不要浪费，就“埋位”去。在马华里，我们有很多protocol的，怎有得让我坐到总会长那儿去，再来林放大哥是老前辈，应该让出位子给他跟翁总“对着看”。



加了盐加了醋
那下午，我整理好了的问题，都在找机会发问，因为总不能突然杀出个离太远的，让大家不能适从。也就来回再看过问题，避免重复发问，浪费纳税人的钱。一开始阿武叔发表声明，解释这场博聚的来龙去脉。过后翁总开腔，开始时他讲解硬设备(硬环境）的变动问题，过后是软设备（软环境）。他强调他上位后，并没有对这些设备做太大的调整。他也一再强调，大家过后听到的都加了盐加了醋。

我想：其实有很多问题，翁总可能回答了，但也有含糊其词的可能性，这样不知是咸还是甜的清况下，加盐加醋也不奇怪呀！


林放最“放”
那个下午，林放大哥问最多问题，问题也最辣、最直接。当他问翁总有没有看过老蔡的DVD时，我也愣了一下，因为不知翁总会如何回答，翁总也不隐瞒的回答说有但节奏太慢看不下去。

我想：一针见血，不拐弯抹角。


翁总双十特大后强烈感觉不太对劲
翁总对一位中委在双十特大后的一句：“要重选，谁都可以选，老翁老蔡不能再来。”过后便感觉不太对劲。这种强烈感觉再加上他打听到的一些对双十特大投票的某种pattern（如钩叉叉）让他明白有心人要去翁除蔡的阴谋。

我想：为何那么迟，打个头破血流后才感觉不对劲？

我家的荷花终于又开花了

我家种的荷花自6年前搬到这来开了不上十次。这一两年来都没什么开花，三个月前还差点死翘翘了，我没放弃它，因为舍不得，也深深体会到根还在，肯定会起死回生、再开花的。

I have just received an email sent to my gmail account and it is trying to attract my attention by telling me that I will get so and so money by becoming payment agent. However, I believe it is another case of Internet Scam. After google-d it, I found out there is already other people receiving such email before. Don't ever fooled over such scam by giving your bank information to these people.

Support the Students Facing Charge
Background:
Six students from Chinese Language Society of University Malaya organized a debate competition on 8 September 2009. They have been charged by university authority and being asked to attend a proceeding on 12 October with the reason of inviting “outsider” to judge the debate competition. These judges are Teresa Kok (Seputeh MP), Wong Nai Chee (MCA central committee member) and Koh Kok Wee (a political commentator).


We, the undersigned, hereby oppose the action due to the following reasons:-
1. The six students only organized a debate competition that provides a platform for intellectual discussion on current national issues. This also provides a chance for the university students to understand the current national issue more deeply.
2. The Student Affair Department had approved the activity by approving the Kertas Kerja Dasar. The students had informed Student Affair Department of the topic and the judges invited. Student Affair Department didn’t halt the said activity but only advised the organiser not to organise any activities with political element in the future.
3. The charge of inviting “outsider” to judge the competition is unreasonable as it is the common practise in UM activities.
4. Chinese Language Society denies that it is a political activity but purely a debate competition that provides a platform for intellectual discussion.
Therefore, we hereby demand that Student Affair Department:-
1. Do not take any action upon the 6 students.
2. To respect the student’s activities.

马大华文学会辩论组于2009年9月8日举办了一场辩论表演赛。五位负责人和华文学会主席事后遭学生事务处传召出席2009年10月12日的听证会，理由是“邀请校外人士出席活动”。该场比赛出席的评判分别为郭素沁(士不爹议员)、王乃志(马华中委)以及许国伟(时事评论员)。


我们, 以下签署者, 根据以下理由反对此次指控:
1. 举办一个探讨国家时事课题的辩论表演赛并没有错。这活动只是为了提供大专生一个更了解现今时事课题的机会。
2. 学生事务处已批准该活动的申请。活动策划人在活动开始前已如实告知学生事务处辩论表演赛的辩题和评审嘉宾。学生事务处并没有阻止该活动的举办, 而只是劝说下次不可再办任何具有政治元素的活动。
3. 这项针对“邀请校外人士出席活动”的指控是不合理的。因为邀请校外人士到校担任评审嘉宾是马大学生活动的一个普遍做法。
4. 华文学会否认该活动有任何政治议程, 这活动只是一个提供讨论平台的辩论赛。

因此, 我们同声向学生事务处要求:-
1. 无条件撤销所有对那六名学生的指控。
2. 尊重学生活动。

中国不强制性网民装绿坝

China has scaled back its plans to install controversial net filtering software on its citizens' computers.
In June, the government said that all PCs would have to have the "Green Dam Youth Escort" software installed to filter out objectionable material.
The announcement caused an outcry in China and further afield.
The government has now said that citizens can choose whether they use the program, although installations on public computers will still go ahead.
"Installation is intended to block violent and pornographic content on the internet to protect children," said China's minister of industry and information technology Li Yizhong.
"Any move to politicise the issue or to attack China's internet management system is irresponsible and not in line with reality."
Roll back
In June, the Chinese government announced that all computers sold in China - even those that are imported - would have to have the software installed by 1 July.
The program was created to stop people viewing "offensive" content such as pornographic or violent websites and promote the "healthy development of the internet".
The announcement caused outcry across the blogosphere in China and beyond from people who believed the system was designed to censor the web.
In addition, University of Michigan security researchers found a series of flaws in the software which could have allowed a malicious hacker to take control of every computer which had the software installed.
On 30 June, the government delayed its plans to roll out the software.
During a news conference, Li said the ministry was still gauging public opinion before installation and said work was being done to upgrade the software.
Although he said citizens could now choose whether or not they installed the software, it would still be compulsory on computers in schools, internet cafes and other public places.
The plan was to prevent "obscenity" from "poisoning the young", he said.

不是说好一笑泯恩仇吗？

近来比较忙，要响应总会长的拼经济嘛，得努力点工作，拿多点project，但也不知自己要怎样跟马华配合，一起来拼。这也正好跟阿武叔昨日在巴生的马华雪州大会辩论的课题一样，马华要怎样做以便带领华社甚至大马所有人民一起去拼，但我不要拼到你死我活那种。

我这人华文语法能力不强，但怎样也可以写出几篇文章，把心里想说的告诉大家。这次，再忙也要写完这篇。八月四号，马华纪律委员会传召我们的署理总会长去听证会，会有怎样的结果，没人预料得到，但是肯定的是这样的做法会被人批评为炒冷菜，成年旧事重提。蔡细历不是已经在2008年头为自己的过失负责了吗？再来，这真的是他的私生活，被偷拍了的那种感觉也不好受吧？当我看到他站出来承认自己的所作所为时，脑里浮现的第一个想法就是遣责他。第二个想法就是赞赏他的敢做敢当。想想看，他所犯的错误，对你我造成了什么样的伤害？我想，他是个能干的领袖，事情过了那么久，马华基层也赞同他的领导，那么应该给他一个机会，为华社谋一个更好的未来吧！

马华党选前，有个网站叫cakap-cakappolitik的，里面所写的，都是冲着翁诗杰而来。我也在那儿说了我真心的看法，但被一位老前辈不客气的回应，说我很会捧大脚，因为我知道翁诗杰将会很大可能会当选，所以认为我是优秀的马华党员。其实我不会捧大脚，我只是说出我心底里的话。因为我还有一个有良知的心。

马华党选至今，我们的总会长说了一些我记得非常清楚的话。其中一句便是：一笑泯恩仇。话是说了，但是我真的还是没有强烈感觉，来feel到他说的泯恩仇呀！虽然我非常不认同总会长的某些事情上的处理方式，但我要尊重他是我们的总会长，我总不能在这儿对我党的总领导人乱乱开炮吧？虽然我不担心过会被纪律处分，也不怕被告，其实我真的“惊”都没“惊”过。但主要原因还是，他曾经是我在马华里面最尊敬的领袖。

1998年当我在马大求学时，那时是我的第二年，那时还有Yayasan Johor的存在。那时候柔州的Exco Members都到马大来interview柔州子民。在其中所大厦外头等的华裔子民，interview他们的是我们尊贵的刘文丰州议员与蔡细历医生州议员。在等候的我们，求的只是一个interview的机会，能不能顺利过关都得听天由命。贵人事忙的老刘半路因有其它事物要处理便离席了（我到现才还是认为他是去处理重要事务，并不是其他在场人事所说的是去喝咖啡）。我也不信有一个姓刘的走出来说，刘文丰只说了一句，唉呀，姓刘的给你啦。如果是这样，我太太也姓刘，那么她也应该拿到吧？但可能我老婆比较大牌，她读的科系大把奖学金拿吧？！
这蔡医生还是默默耕耘，留下来interview其他在等的大学生。但我本应该被老刘interview的，因为老刘的贵人事忙，interview我的是其他UMNO的州议员。我回答得不好，所以理所当然落选了。这件事情让我感慨万千，也对蔡医生的勤力有一定的认同。那时的我不是马华党员，心里也只有火箭。

也因为没拿到那贷学金，我申请了郭氏奖学金，也顺利拿到了。最后也成功以不错的成绩毕业了。我也很感谢老刘，因为他的贵人事忙，让我深深体会到柳暗花明又一村的感觉。

两次的dinner,让我更了解这位马华署理总会长。只能说他很亲民，有说服力，对事情的分解能力强，也很有判断力。绝对是个能够领军做战的领袖。我其实不明白为何会有某些人说一顿饭就能收买的事，因为如果一个人他本身没有领袖魅力，没有领导才华，再100顿饭也买不到一个人的“服”。我们又不是乞丐，为什么那么的来污辱我们？尊重别人也算是尊重自己。

八月四日后，马华纪律委员会的对蔡细历的判决，应该也会影响我这位小党员对马华未来的看法。
